Lexi Lobb and Rory Lobb's wedding: 'Weird way' AFL couple about to hold their destination ceremony interview

Exclusive – australian rugby league stars Rory Loeb and his wife Lexi reveal the 'weird ways' of their second marriage wedding.

Two people already got it Getting married in October, An intimate ceremony was held in Toorak, Melbourne, before they flew overseas for their honeymoon.

But now, the couple is attending their destination wedding in the Maldives.

“The way we did things was a little weird… we went on our honeymoon first, mainly because we were actually having a friend's wedding overseas,” Lexie told Nine News in an exclusive interview. Melbourne Cup Tuesday.

“So we went there and then went on our honeymoon and then tomorrow we’re heading to the Maldives for our destination wedding.

“We'll be there for a week with family and friends.”

For a couple who are due to fly overseas to get married the next day, the couple kept their day at Flemington Racecourse relaxed and calm.

Lexi wore a green long-sleeved dress which she paired with a black clutch.

Rory was wearing a gray plaid suit and had freshly bleached hair. 

“I feel like we just went with the flow and we knew the Maldives was going to be so relaxing and so beautiful… luckily it was all set in stone.”

The couple chose a tropical paradise for their destination wedding because it was where they got engaged.

“We’re excited to get everyone back there,” Lexie said.

“We're definitely making a conscious effort to really shut down and be with the people around us (for the day).”

The two got engaged in November 2023 while traveling to the Maldives.

They shared the news on Instagram, along with a photo of the giant ring.

A year later, the pair tied the knot in an intimate wedding and dinner in Melbourne.

They shared photos from their special day with a touching caption that read: “The reception dinner at our intimate wedding was everything we dreamed of and more.”

“A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support in making our vision a reality.”
