This confusion seems to stem from an inaccurate article that connects brands to separate businesses tested in 2023. The article has since been corrected. The company said it plans to open up to 345 new restaurants in 2025, with its popular “Chitlane” driving including at least 80% of locations. Chipotle ended the fourth quarter of 2024, with no debt and more than $2 billion in cash reserves. The company reported $11.3 billion in revenue last year, a 14% increase from 2023.
