Her children try to make her date profile

Maria Shriver has no shortage of love in her life.

69-year-old journalist shared her thoughts and latest news about her date, with her latest appearance Jamie Kern Lima performs podcast.

Shriver ended her divorce in 2021 with her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, 25, a decade after they learned that his relationship led to a child, but she said she was not eager to form another relationship.

“I am a frustrated matchmaker myself, and I am very convinced of relationships and love,” she explained. “Maybe I don't know, I just got to where I was thinking, but my life is really full. I'm not watching, but I'm willing to do everything God gives.”

Shriver recently learned that they met on a dating app with Connecticut Governor and First Lady Neil and Annie Lamont. but I'm Maria The author said she hadn't thought of this idea yet.

“My kids joked, ‘We should make you a dating app (profile).’” Katherine,,,,, 35, Christina,,,,, 33, Patrick, 31, Christopher, 27 years old. “I’m like ‘absolutely not!’”

“Now I have a thread that I can wear there,” she joked. “No, I'm fine. I'm very good at being alone and it's been a great contribution. I have a wonderful life and I'm deeply grateful for it, it feels really good, really full of love.”

Shriver's family has been growing over the years. Her daughter Katherine has three children with her husband Chris Pratt: 4-year-old daughter Lyla Maria, 2-year-old daughter Eloise Christina and son Ford Fitzgerald, born on November 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, Patrick has been engaged to Abby Championship since December 2023.

Over time, Shriver shared that her perception of love has developed into something completely different from when she was young.

“I used to think that love only had an intimate, romantic package that came out, which made me miss all the love that was offered to me through my friends and others,” she admitted. “And I now realize that there are many different ways to access the love we have, love for us because we are very focused on 'date', right? Or your marriage, partner, no one can give you everything you are looking for.”

“So, I really focused on expanding my concept of love, expanding the number of people in my open field, and so to speak, it brought me love,” she added. “So, whether I end up like this, if I end up with someone in some way, they'll be in a village.”

Shriver has travelled across the country over the past few months, which she says has opened her eyes to common themes across all walks of life.

“People want to live meaningful lives,” she noted. “I’m talking about, ‘What is a meaningful life?’ I’m talking a lot, ‘What is a healthy life for the brain? ” But you know, at the end of the day, what is a meaningful life, and how do I live?
