You may be interested in the Round Top, Texas super Famous Antiques Fair. But did you know the Dome also hosts a film festival? This unique festival returns November 6-9, with some exciting things happening for year two!

What you need to know about the Dome Film Festival

The event, founded by mother and daughter Shanna Schanen and Skylar Schanen, honors the spirit of Texas filmmaking and includes a special stunt award. This prestigious annual award recognizes outstanding professionals in the stunt industry whose innovative contributions have redefined the craft of action storytelling.

This year's Stunt Award will be presented to Chris O'Hara. With over 25 years of experience, he has quietly shaped action movies as a stunt designer and second unit director, bringing precision and care to every project. He has shot many films you are familiar with, including “The Fall Guy”, “Bay Driver”, “Jurassic World”, “Avengers”, “Fight Club” etc. He gave stars like Matt Damon a double dose of activity in “Matt Damon” Bourne Supremacy with bradley cooper the Hangover series.

That's not all that goes on at this totally Texas music festival.

Closing night movie is Jay Kelly Starring George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Emily Mortimer and Billy Crudup. Now this is a star-studded cast!

There will also be a special retro screening series the only thrill. This special event celebrates Texas film history while honoring Diane Keaton.

Speaking of star-studded, other projects screened at the festival also starred Zoey Deutch, Ron Perlman, Esai Morales, Jonathan Lipnicki, Adrianne Palicki, Henry Thomas, Ethan Hawke, Steve Zahn and many more. Some of the actors will even be in attendance!
